ITINERARY:

Meet and greet at your hotel at 7.00am. The tour starts to the delightful chirping of the birds at Tao Dan park, fondly referred to as the "bird cafe". This is where bird lovers come together daily to socialize over a cup of coffee, but more importantly, to show off their prized feathered possession.

We believe that the soul of every city lies in its local markets, which is where our journey of discovery will continue, to sample some of the most sought after local produce and fruits from across the whole of Vietnam.

Next, we will explore a hidden 100-year-old alley in Chinatown, to admire the unique features of Chinese-influenced architecture, and gain an insight into the daily lives and spiritual values of the Chinese community there.

Our next stop is Turtle lake, one of the most popular hangouts of the locals. It gets extremely crowded here in the evenings and on weekends, when the locals congregate to share interesting stories. It is also very well known today as a dating site for young Vietnamese couples.

Finally, we will explore hidden streets and gems only known to, and visited by the locals. Whether its great food that you are looking for, or interesting sights and sounds that are off limits to tourists, these streets are sure to spring a few surprises. The tour ends at 12.00pm.
